Privacy Policy for Hertz-EQ

Hertz-EQ does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
What Hertz-EQ accesses
- Audio/video elements on the webpage you're currently viewing, in order to apply equalizer and volume adjustments in real time.
What Hertz-EQ stores
- Your equalizer and volume settings, saved locally per website.
- Your selected theme preference (dark/light).
All of this is stored using Chrome's built-in local storage API, directly on your device.
What Hertz-EQ does NOT do
- No account or sign-in required
- No data is sent to any external server
- No analytics or tracking of any kind
- No audio is recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere
Data deletion
Uninstalling the extension automatically removes all locally stored settings. No data persists elsewhere because none is ever sent off your device.
